The Ubiquiti NanoBeam 5AC Gen 2 (NBE-5AC-GEN2) access point is a high-performance device designed for point-to-point (PtP) and point-to-point (PtMP) links in the 5 GHz band, with a maximum speed of up to 450 Mbps. This device integrates a 19 dBi winning antenna with dual linear polarization, which allows to focus radio frequency energy on a narrower beam, improving noise immunity and performance in high signal congestion environments. The airMAX ac technology, based on the Multiple Time Division Access (TDMA) protocol, offers better latency, scalability and performance compared to standard Wi-Fi protocols.
The device has a MIPS 74KC, 560 MHz, 128 MB DDR2 and 8 MB flash memory, which ensures stable operation and efficient data processing. It includes two Ethernet Gigabit ports (10 / 100 / 1000 Mbps) and a dedicated Wi-Fi radio for administration, which allows easy and fast configuration by mobile devices through the UMobile application. The compact design integrates the radio and antenna into a single unit, eliminating cable losses and facilitating installation.
